Meet Susanna

A Parent Who Truly Understands

I'm Susanna โ€” a mother of four children, all diagnosed with autism. For over 25 years, I have lived the daily reality that you are facing right now.

I know what it feels like to sit in school meetings where no one listens. I know the exhaustion of fighting for your child's rights, the loneliness of feeling misunderstood, and the overwhelming love you have for your child even on the hardest days.

Through my own journey, I have built deep knowledge of autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental conditions โ€” not from textbooks, but from lived experience. I offer practical, compassionate support that meets you exactly where you are.

I am not a licensed psychologist, therapist, or medical professional. My support is experience-based, practical, and coaching-oriented.

Is This Right for You?

Practical guidance for parents raising neurodivergent children

ADHD, Autism, sensory differences, and school challenges โ€” I understand your world because I've lived it.

Who I Work Best With

I work best with parents who:

  • Feel overwhelmed navigating school systems
  • Recently received an ADHD or autism diagnosis for their child
  • Want practical strategies for everyday family life
  • Want to better understand their neurodivergent child
  • Want practical strategies, not just theory
  • Are ready to take steps toward a calmer family life

Most families work with me through support packages rather than single sessions.

After Working Together

Parents often tell me they:

  • Understand your child's behavior better
  • Feel more confident advocating for your child in school
  • Learn practical strategies that reduce daily stress
  • Feel less alone in the journey

"I created It's Okay to Be Different to support parents navigating life with neurodivergent children. My work is based on lived experience, practical strategies, and helping families feel less alone while finding solutions that work for them."
